Beginnings
His Harmony was formed in 1993 by four men attending the same congregation: (Left to Right) Bruce Patterson, Gene Edmonds, Steve McClelen, and Dave Edmonds - Gene's son.
More Than Just A Quartet
While always remaining true to their Southern Gospel roots, His Harmony has morphed over time, and has had as many as 7 members in 2015, when founder and mentor Gene Edmonds obtained his Eternal Reward.
Christ Is Our Focus
His Harmony's programs consist of Southern Gospel which is written in such a way that it has entertainment value as a Christian alternative to secular music. They choose each song they sing to encourage Christian living - its joys and challenges – to express thankfulness, and to keep their eyes focused on the goal of a higher calling.
Our Current Look
As of 2023, two of our original members (Dave Edmonds & Bruce Patterson) decided to retire from performing with the group. Our current group (from left to right) exists of: Steve McClelen (Bass), Daniel Shumate (Baritone/Lead/Tenor), Aubrey Eudy (Lead/Baritone), Lanny Reed (Tenor), and Joe Chase (Baritone/Lead). Steve is the last remaining original member of His Harmony. They continue to travel and perform Gospel favorites and New Songs alike, in true Quartet Style, while spreading God's message wherever they go. They also perform for Golden Age groups, Weddings, and other Special Events.
